Dr. Ahmed Hannon is an Ophthalmology Consultant specialized  in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Surgery, with over  15 years of proven track record and diversified work experience and in-depth knowledge and skills in eye care, achieving world class performance, ensuring timely and cost efficient implementation in ophthalmic procedures

Dr. Hannon completed his (M.B.B.Ch) Bachelor in Medicines and General Surgery in 2004 from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University one of the leading Medical Schools in Egypt, followed by completed his Internship and Residency Training Research Institute of Ophthalmology, Cairo, Egypt and received his Master Degree in 2009 from Ain-Shams University, Egypt.

Dr. Hannon also became a certified member of the International Council of Ophthalmology of Cambridge in 2010. Then he completed his fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK in 2014, Followed by received his PhD degree in Ophthalmology in 2015.

He previously filled the position Assistant Lecturer of Ophthalmology at Research Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO)- Cairo-Egypt (2008-2014). Then Specialist in Pediatric Ophthalmology and strabismus in Dubai Hospital (DH), Dubai, UAE (2011-2013).  From 2014 till date Dr Hannon is the Lecturer of Ophthalmology (Pediatric Ophthalmology Department) in Research Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO)- Cairo-Egypt.

From 2021 till date Dr Hannon is working as Consultant Ophthalmologist / Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Surgeon (Visiting Doctor) at Eye Consultants Center, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai -UAE.
