Dr. Awadalla completed his (M.B.B.Ch) Bachelor in Medicines and General Surgery in 1992 from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University one of the leading Medical Schools in Egypt, followed by Master Degree in 1996 from the same University and received his Doctorate Degree in 1999 from Cairo University, Egypt.
Then he completed his fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK in 2020..

• Professor of Ophthalmology & Vitreoretinal Surgeon: Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt (May 2010-Now).
• Attending Consultant Ophthalmology & Vitreoretinal Surgeon in the Magrabi Eye Hospitals, Cairo, Egypt.
  Consultant Ophthalmology & Vitreoretinal Surgeon: Al-Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah, UAE (Oct 2016-2020)
• Consultant of Ophthalmology and Vitreoretinal surgery: Ministry of Health, United Arab Emirates (Sep, 2004 – 2008).
